Pure Plant Oil for Cuba: The disadvantaged community of Puerto de Moya is confronting its fuel requirements by looking inwards for a solution that will provide a sustainable source of power over the long term. Together with the Cuban University del Oriente, three Calgary researchers and a film producer from Halifax are launching a fund raising campaign to help this community double its access to electricity through the use of locally grown biofuels.
